Amy and Chris woke up together at a nearby hotel, enjoying a calm moment before the whirlwind of the day ahead. By mid-morning, Amy headed to the villa to prepare with her bridesmaids, where hair and makeup were set to begin.
By noon, a member of Sunshine Weddings Spain arrived at the venue to ensure all final details were in place and to oversee the smooth running of the day. Early in the afternoon, the photographer, Issy, arrived to start documenting the day’s events, just as the hair and makeup finished and the florals were delivered—including Amy’s hand-tied bouquet of white hydrangeas and smaller versions for the bridesmaids.
Meanwhile, the groomsmen gathered: Chris, Best Man Matt, and groomsmen Tony, Matt, Reece, Chris, Joey, Darryl, and Chaps. They received their buttonholes and prepared to welcome the guests as they arrived. The wedding day celebration was about to commence.
As the time arrived for guests to make their way to the finca, two pre-arranged 55-seater coaches collected everyone from their nearby accommodations. With the striking Andalucian mountains as a stunning backdrop, the wedding party arrived at the impressive finca, where Best Man Matt stood ready to greet them. Stepping onto the spacious terrace, guests were welcomed with refreshing drinks, setting the perfect tone for the day. The soothing melodies of a carefully selected playlist filled the air, creating a relaxed and inviting vibe. Guests mingled and chatted, their excitement building as they looked forward to the beautiful celebration ahead.

Set against the historic backdrop of a bygone foundry, the ceremony unfolded in an enchanting setting that perfectly complemented the romantic occasion. Costa del Sol-based officiant Kevin led the heartwarming ceremony, uniting Amy and Chris in matrimony. Amy looked breathtaking in an elegant lace mermaid dress with a short train, a striking contrast to her bridesmaids, who all wore stunning black dresses. Chris was equally dashing in a classic black suit paired with a bowtie.
The picturesque gardens, with the capacity to comfortably host 400 guests, provided an intimate yet spacious setting for this early June wedding. As guests settled in their seats, they were serenaded by the talented UK singer Robbie, who performed the entrance song “Your Love Keeps Lifting Me Higher and Higher.” The music continued throughout the ceremony, with Robbie performing “The Reason,” during the signing of the marriage documents and “Everlasting Love,” as Amy and Chris exited as husband and wife, ready to continue the celebrations.
After the ceremony, guests transitioned to a lively cocktail hour by the pool, surrounded by picturesque gardens, ancient palm trees, and lush tropical plants. The atmosphere was set by the uplifting vocals of a second singer, Moni, as guests savoured a variety of hot and cold canapés. The delectable selection included shredded chicken tikka, chicken satay, Parmesan and rosemary shortbreads, cherry tomato and goat cheese tartlets, tangy Thai prawn skewers, and smoked salmon.
While guests mingled and enjoyed the refreshments, the newlyweds slipped away with photographer Issy who captured more timeless memories of the happy couple against the finca’s stunning backdrops.

The wedding meal was set in a central garden, showcasing a stunning water fountain and a majestic hundred-year-old walnut tree. This picturesque setting provided a perfect backdrop for an evening of celebration. Guests enjoyed a selection of Spanish flavours, starting with a refreshing lobster salad with coriander, chilli, and mango. For the main course, they enjoyed traditional mini beef Wellingtons with red wine jus, accompanied by Dauphinoise potatoes and green beans, alongside a succulent lamb dish.
Between the main course and dessert, the newlyweds were once again whisked away by photographer Issy for some romantic sunset photos. As they returned, cava was served, and the speeches commenced, starting with a heartfelt toast from the father-of-the-bride. Dessert followed, featuring a trio of treats: chocolate truffle cake, mojito fruit salad, and mini white chocolate and raspberry cheesecakes.
The relaxed vibe, shaded by an ancient tree and complemented by Robbie’s soft vocals, which he performed at intervals throughout the dinner, created the perfect setting for a memorable wedding meal and set the tone for the evening’s festivities to continue.

As dusk descended, the area around the pond near the main house transformed into a magical setting, illuminated by twinkling lights. The bar, nestled around the ancient walnut tree, and the dance floor, situated opposite the tree towards the path, were ready for the evening’s festivities.
Amy, having changed into a stunning evening dress, and Chris took to the dance floor for their first dance to “Shut Up And Dance” with both vocalists, Moni and Ross, performing and providing a dynamic musical duo and setting the tone for an evening of celebration.
The dance floor near the water features quickly filled up as the party began, and the five-hour open bar kept the celebration going late into the night. Guests joined Amy and Chris on the dance floor, enjoying the music and festive atmosphere. The night was full of dancing and laughter, making it an unforgettable event.
As Amy and Chris embark on this new chapter together, we thank them for choosing us to be a part of their special day and wish them a lifetime of love, health, and happiness. A heartfelt thank you goes to Issy for capturing the unforgettable moments of this beautiful couple’s special day.
