The luxurious and beautiful La Cala Beach club has recently re-opened after a substantial revamp, which is brilliant news! What can the general public expect from you? Sum up the quintessential La Cala Beach Club experience for us. Our motto is relax, energise, and inspire. We believe it is quintessential we stay true to our roots within these three words.

RELAX
For obvious reasons. If not with a gastronomic delight for the taste buds, listening to the sea on our comfortable beach and pool beds, then a perfect cocktail or crisp glass of champagne to quench the summer thirst, and a swim in our pool to then be followed by an elegant candlelit dinner overlooking the sea.
ENERGISE
With us with our incredible line-up of DJs – either to dance by the pool during the day, or, if the mood takes you, we have our nightclub, FARO, to dance the early hours away.

Well, what could be more inspirational than a stunning sunset overlooking the sea? The constant change of colour and depth of the Mediterranean; the smell, sounds and energy of the waves. We are inspired every day to turn a good moment into a great one… From the welcome experience to the goodbye experience, and in every possible detail in-between, we hope to make our mark as one of the finest beach clubs on the coast.

The venue also offers the perfect setting for get-togethers before and after weddings. Do you have any specific packages for bridal couples and their wedding guests? What would a typical wedding get-together look like?
We have 5 unique spaces for hosting all types of events. All of our events have incredible views of the sea and each one is different from the other. Guests can gather on our Palmira terrace for an elegant lunch or dinner with live music, or by the pool with a barbecue and cocktails at our Origen bar. We offer different menus which are adapted for each occasion and are tailored to suit the specific tastes of each individual client. We certainly cannot forget our Faro nightclub, which offers the opportunity for our guests to have all kinds of parties until late at night without sound restrictions.

We create a bespoke experience for each of our clients. The Beach Club offers an exclusive service for both its food, and its unique location. Clients can either hire one of our beautiful spaces or they can rent the entire venue for their big day. The options are endless. Each space has its own charm and wedding guests will be amazed by each space we have to offer. We have a great team of professionals who will make a couple’s experience absolutely unforgettable.

We would love to know about some of your most popular dishes in the restaurant, which we understand specialises in local gastronomy – and the cocktail bar sounds fabulous, too: what’s on the menu there in terms of refreshments?
Our most popular dishes are a fusion of classic Spanish and European inspiration, ranging from the award winning “best croquetta in the world 2020″, to our signature Paella, Candied pork belly, Chicken Liver Foie Gras Parfait, Salmon Gravlax with Cinnamon Cucumber Radish, Marinated Citric Salmon, Grilled Tuna with Spiced Soya and a range of fresh fish and succulent meat dishes to please all tastes.

La Cala’s coastline is a wonderful spot on the Costa del Sol. How far do the majority of your clients travel to reach you?
Our clients range from all nationalities and all areas of the world. We have a large local clientele as well as established international customer base where many holidaymakers repeat the visit. We also are very popular among the Scandinavian community.

Obviously the pandemic has hit the tourism industry hard in southern Spain. How busy do you anticipate the resort will be this summer?
With restrictions getting easier week by week we hope this year to be making a foundation for years to come. We calculate that summer will be good in terms of getting the message of excellence out. By making sure the Beach Club becomes an extremely well established and highly regarded venue this year with emphasis on gastronomy, service, music, events and exquisite views.

What are you looking forward to most when restrictions have eased further?
We are looking forward to freedom again. The ability to relax freely without restrictions and for all our clients to genuinely feel free to enjoy themselves. We understand how hard it has been for everyone. But with such pressure comes great responsibility to ensure our public are in the safest of hands.
