A rustic inland finca elegantly integrated into the idyllic countryside

At this rustic finca, enveloped by sea and mountains, the beautiful bridal couple, Lauren and Sam, tied the knot. An intimate, cosy affair celebrated on a dreamy, summer’s day last June, where the wedding guests were shuttled in private transport to the grounds of the Spanish country estate.

There the wedding guests were greeted with live music, melodic guitar lines by Spanish guitarist Javier, which created a relaxed but refined wedding reception ambience as the guests enjoyed a welcome drink of refreshing lemonade from a lemonade stand with savoury snack cones that had been set-up on the verdant lawns of the Mallorcan finca.

The groom, looking debonair and handsome in a classic tuxedo was joined in the outdoor wedding ceremony space set up in the finca’s lovely mediterranean garden by the beautiful bride who looked simply stunning in her gorgeous satin gown.

The outdoor ceremony commenced to the Beatles classic “ Here comes the sun“ fabulously played by Javier on guitar and was followed by a touching but uplifting service, lead by the local mallorcan celebrant Toni Pons, who led a light-hearted yet meaningful and unique wedding ceremony.

Once the vows were said and the rings exchanged, Lauren and Sam, now as husband and wife, made their way together out of the ceremony, to the bright beat of Gypsy Kings’ “Inspiration.“

The cocktail hour that followed saw family and friends gathered by the pool terrace, an ideal space to enjoy a delicious selection of beverages; cocktail with lavender; cava; wines; beers; soft drinks and water and wide range of canapes including: panko coated Thai fish cakes sweet chilli dipping sauce, mini lamb burger on brioche with mint & coriander cream and salt crusted baked baby potatoes gruyere cheese and chives, in a relaxed atmosphere next to the tranquil water.

Following on from there, the bridal couple were whisked away to enjoy their photo session, where the grounds of this elegant rustic wedding villa, an ancient property of Talaiotic and Moorish origin, made for fantastic photo opportunities which were wonderfully captured by the talented Billie.

A magical candle-lit reception with lots of wine, emotional speeches and amazing local food.

The main course was held in the central courtyard, decorated with a distinctive Mallorquín touch, featuring a lot of natural textures for a truly romantic, boho-chic affair, where brown cross rustic chairs matched with rectangular rustic tables completed the rural wedding styling.

There the wedding guests were offered a fantastic feast of carpaccio of pepper and thyme seared beef fillet with lemon and olive oil dressed with parmesan and crispy capers for starters, followed by chicken breast, prosciutto and sage saltimbocca with sweet potato puree or braised leeks and asparagus with a Tarragon and shallot cream sauce for the mains—with a vegetarian option at each course for those who preferred—followed by a scrumptious Eton Mess with vanilla cream, meringue and berries for dessert.

Party time—an indoor space with exquisite finishings and a charming atmosphere

As the dinner wrapped up, the guests transitioned indoors to continue the festivities, a charming space where the young newlyweds enjoyed their first dance to Arctic Monkeys’ “Baby I’m Yours.” There the dancing continued to the soulful sound of Sax player Thomas, followed by groovy vibes from a catchy playlist at the hands of DJ Andreas where the sound of laughter could be heard echoing into the night.

Congratulations to Lauren and Sam, may the rest of your life together be as perfect as your beautiful Mallorcan wedding.
And a huge thank you to Billie for the use of these incredible images.
