Wedding in Spain’s Andratx: Stunning Seascapes & Spanish Cuisine…

When Jenni contacted us to say that she had found the perfect Mallorcan venue for her wedding in Andratx Spain, we were very excited. Not only because it was a lovely boutique hotel on one of the island’s prettiest ports, but because she had specifically sought us out to help her plan her special day. Jenni had attended a wedding in Barcelona the year before that had been organized by our Sunshine Weddings Spain wedding planner Elaine, so we were over the moon that she had looked us up especially and of course agreed to help her with all her plans.

Jenni’s fiance James had proposed to her in the pretty fishing village of Andratx in Mallorca earlier that year – therefore it stood to reason that they wanted it to also double as their wedding location in Mallorca. Having a wedding in Andratx’is ideal as the port has plenty of choices of restaurants and bars, as well as a number of hotels. So along with being picturesque, it was also a great place for Jenni and James’ guests to stay during their wedding weekend.

Most of our couples getting married in Spain don’t live in the same country, so we are used to conducting many meetings in London or over Skype. We were lucky to meet up with Jenni and James on a couple of occasions in Mallorca to discuss their wedding in Andratx, and together we ensured all plans were put in place and that the day was scheduled to perfection.

Because a wedding in Spain is such an exciting occasion, many of our couples plan their nuptials over three days so that their friends and family can combine the special occasion with a relaxed few days away. As well as pre- and post-wedding party organizing in Mallorca, we can also plan Hen and Stag dos. Jenni wanted an elegant but fun time with her friends so we organized a day at a chic beach club where the girls were pampered with plenty of sun, laughter and Champagne. This was followed by dinner in a local restaurant and included a private bus transfer. Every detail was covered so that Jenni could have a great time and not worry about a thing.

Our bride and groom were also keen to gather all their loved ones together for a pre-wedding get together. They were looking for a venue with a sea backdrop where they could welcome their guests to their wedding in Andratx with some drinks and typically Spanish food. We found the perfect restaurant for them which was the ideal combination of great food and amazing views. The wedding photographer came along too and took advantage of the stunning seascape to take some great pre-wedding photos to capture the couple’s excitement before their big day.
