Spanish Wedding Styling: Decadent Decor to Create The WOW Factor…
From the ceremony through to the wedding feast, and then beyond and into the small hours of the morning, there are so many exciting and beautiful options for couples when it comes to putting the finishing touches to their wedding venues.
Picture the scene:
A charming Finca in the Andalusian countryside, its spacious pea-green laws dotted with rows of white chairs beneath the swaying palms, further embellished with garlands of flowers or ribbon; floral-topped lanterns mark the entrance to the carpeted-aisle (ready for bride and groom, ready for petals to be lovingly lavished upon them post-ceremony); freshly-arranged fuchsia, ballerina-pink, and white flowers await the bridal couple at the altar, and a rustic blackboard with beautifully chalk-written words welcomes guests to the special day of their loved ones.

The images we are showcasing today are testament to all of that, and were taken this July at a socially-distanced wedding held in the grounds of one of Andalusia’s most stunning Fincas. The bride and groom’s colour theme worked fabulously with the lush greenery of the venue’s extensive grounds.
In addition to the careful attention to detail that flowed effortlessly from the exquisite glass pieces on the top table, through to the glorious rose petal embellishments that provided an eye-catching contrast to the pristine white table cloths, table names were themed with local Andalusian towns. A lovely personalised touch and a great way to pay homage to places of meaning during a couple’s romantic journey.
We also love the way the strategic placing of the many flower-topped lanterns, further set off the grounds’ own features; the reflection of pink and white in its ornamental pond fusing the pretty ceremonial props perfectly. All of which makes for a magical backdrop to the wedding breakfast, transforming everything to the next level of beauty.
Cut flowers in jam jar-style glasses dotted about the dining tables makes for an irresistible kaleidoscope of colour, too – all at medium height, of course, so focus isn’t detracted from the equally elegant guests, and, most especially, the happy newlyweds!
A gorgeous touch to this particular summer Finca wedding is the way tribute is paid to the azure-blue and white of the venue’s building (and in this particular property’s case, aditionally, the azure-blue of the breathtaking pool). The wedding cake stencilling is so fetching with its almost tile print design, topped off elegantly with some more of the fuchsia flowers from the ceremony and dining theme, it looks truly majestic. Add to that some garlands of twinkling fairy lights, artfully draped around the grounds as dusk approaches, and the wow factor is elevated again in a tableau of ethereal perfection.
Indeed, the bride and groom at this wedding pulled out all the styling stops. So much so, that they even created a unique chill-out area for the children! It’s these thoughtful touches that make a wedding so unique and memorable. Cream teepes and pastel-hued bunting proved an instant hit with the younger members of the wedding party, all of which made for some super photography moments, and kept the little ones entertained well into the evening. As night fell, lights of all colours shone a spotlight on the gardens, turning them into a dancefloor to rival any disco.
Well thought out wedding decor is such a magical thing, adding a gilt-edged frame to the celebrations of love; luring EVERYONE to boogie come sundown, and making fairytales a reality.
