What a fantastic start to the wedding season Sunshine Weddings Spain is having! Warm sun, blue skies, a number of great wedding venues and excited wedding guests, all creating a terrific atmosphere for our bride and grooms who are getting married in Spain this year.
Over the next few weeks we will review all the different weddings that have taken place; some from last season, then following on with this seasons weddings in Majorca, Malaga and Barcelona. They should provide you with an idea of the different wedding venues in Spain that are available, and how your dream wedding in Spain could turn into your reality.
Our first is a wedding in Marbella, which was only booked 9 weeks ago. The bride and groom chose a luxury 5* hotel which over looks long stretches of white sandy beaches and the Mediterranean Sea. The wedding venue in Marbella sits in between Marbella Port and the exclusive and very ostentatious Puerto Banus, hosting luxury yachts and boats from around the world.
As wedding guests waited for their bride to enter they listened to the relaxing and romantic sounds of a beautiful classical guitarist whilst taking in the breathtaking views of Gibraltar and Africa, which could be seen in the distance.
The weather was glorious and the bride looked gorgeous as she glided down the red carpet sharing the most wonderful and special moment with her family and wedding guests who had travelled from London and Ireland.
The reception and dinner all took place around one of the hotels pools, which the wedding venue in Marbella had provided exclusively for the wedding party to enjoy for the day.
The reception drinks and canapés were handed out around the poolside as guests listened to a very cool saxophonist playing jazz music. They were then ushered to their seats under a large pergola to enjoy a three-course banquet with beautiful table decorations complimenting the sophisticated sea-view wedding theme.
To add to their day the bride and groom had chosen a magnificent cake with hand crafted flowers as the main feature, which they shared with their guests whilst watching and being entertained by traditional Spanish flamenco dancers.
The evening continued with the drinks flowing and dancing to the sounds of DJ Kevin who helped to keep the party going long into the night.
This wedding in Spain really had all the trimmings of sophistication and class and even though there had only been 9 weeks to create this magical wedding every detail had been thought through carefully to create a wonderfully romantic yet entertaining day and night for all the wedding party who had travelled to enjoy this fabulous wedding in Marbella.
