Traditional Church Wedding In Spain: A weekend destination wedding can be a non-stop party for everyone involved.
Louise and Adam’s wedding festivities started as soon as they touched down in Malaga Spain. They flew from London to their wedding destination in Southern Spain along with their guests to make sure they were entertained right from the beginning of their weekend long wedding celebrations. From beach lunches and barbecues to dinners in the port they made the most of getting married abroad and spending time with all their friends and family, turning a one day event into a fun filled holiday for all to enjoy.
After much fun and frolics everyone was extremely excited for the big day to arrive and even more so to see Louise and Adam tie the knot in the most beautiful of settings in Mijas.
Whilst the guests waited for the bride to arrive at her chosen wedding ceremony venue, a beautiful church on the coastal town of La Cala de Mijas, they met at a nearby quaint Spanish Tapas bar where they were to taste the beginning of the traditionally Spanish themed wedding Delicacies’were served igniting their taste buds and adding to the whole aroma of being at a wedding in Spain. Once everyone had been fed and watered they were asked to wait at the church for the blushing bride to arrive.
Louise entered the church in Mijas to the sounds of two close friends singing the most glorious of soprano musical pieces making her entrance enchanting as she glided through the entrance and down the aisle to meet her groom.
Once the service had completed the wedding party were transported to their reception venue, a traditional rustic Hacienda set in the hills of the Mijas countryside with views stretching far and wide.
The reception drinks were held in a quaint courtyard full of Spanish character and filled with the sounds of a flamenco guitarist who was accompanied by a flamenco percussionist playing jazz.
Dinner was served in a marque in the gardens of the Hacienda and where the party took place long into the September evening…..
The following day all the wedding guests were invited back to the villa in Mijas to enjoy a day by the pool, and whilst the sun shone they built up an appetite for the Paella party which was the finale of their trip and wedding celebrations in Spain
Congratulations Adam and Louise you really gave your guests not only a day but a whole 4 days of everlasting wedding memories!!!
