Villa Wedding In Nerja: Special Birthday Proposal In Southern Spain’s Costa del Sol.

Sunshine Weddings Spain took great pleasure in planning and organizing Shirley & Richards wedding celebrations in Nerja.

During one of their many trips to Spain, Richard made his grand proposal on Shirley’s special birthday, sharing the moment with many of their close friends and family.

Everyone was excited to have been invited to re-live such a special and memorable moment with the couple, but this time, sharing in a romantic and fun wedding day in Spain.

Shirley met Scott in the Sunshine Weddings Spain UK office in High Wycombe, near to her home, and together they began planning her big day discussing how they would bring Shirley’s dream wedding in Spain to life.

To create the backdrop and setting for this Spanish fun filled wedding, a beautiful traditionally themed white washed villa was chosen, a fabulous wedding venue in Nerja, and a date early September was booked, one of the most favorable months to marry in Spain.

Guests arrived at the villa to the sounds of an acoustic guitar where they took their seats on the covered terrace overlooking the Spanish countryside, sitting amongst Shirley’s chosen wedding colours, purple and orange, with large umbrellas used to theme the area which their guests then benefitted from later shielding themselves’from the late afternoon sun.

Their wedding reception took place on the terrace next to the ceremony area with an array of Spanish canapes to match their chosen dinner menu of traditional Spanish cuisine.

Entertainment was laid on and as their wedding guests enjoyed their celebrations a troupe of flamenco dancers took their places to entertain them throughout the evening adding to the overall Spanish wedding theme.

This truly was a magnificent day and location to be celebrating Shirley & Richards wonderfully fun and special wedding day in Spain.
