After a very hard, but rewarding season, the Sunshine Weddings team was delighted to receive their 200th five-star review and comments that it is the best wedding planner in Spain. “It all started two years ago when a friend of ours suggested we use this wedding planning service. How sceptical I was about contacting them as I was determined that I could plan the biggest day of our lives, in a foreign country, on my own. Our dedicated wedding planner was Justine, who can be defined as nothing short of an absolute godsend. Her determination, patience, consistency and impeccable interpersonal skills allowed us to feel as though we were of paramount priority, albeit [it was] the peak of the wedding session.
Louise, our wedding coordinator was artistic, professional and efficient, carrying out her duties with military precision, whilst having the biggest smile and warmest of handshakes for all our guests.

We married in the Hacienda San Jose in September and had the most wonderful day (I know everyone says that about their wedding but it was truly magical). We had so many compliments on every aspect of the wedding, the decor, staff, venue, food, service. There aren’t enough words to describe how impressed we were with Scott and his team. We’re so, so thankful to them for helping us organise our dream wedding. Getting married abroad is a daunting task but there wasn’t a single thing we threw at them that they couldn’t help with. “Just returned from sunny Spain and our wedding at Fort Ingles. What a day. Absolutely fantastic. The day was stress free and ran seamlessly with no hiccups. We had a fantastic day as did all our guests and this was, in no small part, thanks to Sunshine Weddings and their dedicated staff. We cannot speak highly enough of Scott and his team. The whole wedding process was just under two years in the making and as soon as we met the Sunshine wedding staff we knew we were in good hands. Constant communication with Justine in admin meant all our queries were answered promptly, which meant we always felt up to speed and in the loop, which was our main concern when contemplating a wedding abroad. Sunshine Weddings have a fantastic network of catering teams and entertainment professionals that come highly recommended. My advice: let Sunshine lead the way, they simply will not let you down. In the lead up to our big day, we had our final meeting with Scott and Raquel. No stone is left unturned and the itinerary for the day is run minute by minute, ensuring a smooth-running wedding day. Real attention to detail is something that really stood out to me throughout the whole process. On the big day, both Scott and Raquel were in attendance, overseeing different contractors and ensuring everything was just right. Raquel was particularly unbelievable in her service and stayed with us for the vast majority of the day, not leaving until well into the night and not before checking that the day had gone exactly to our liking. What a service! I cannot recommend Sunshine Weddings enough. A perfect service delivered on our perfect day. We sincerely hope to see Scott and Raquel on our next visit to Spain.”

Scott – from the outset you were a pleasure to work with, and always at the end of the phone. Pam – you are unbelievable at what you do. You were always an email away and on hand for every little detail that we needed. You organised the best day that we could have wished for. Without doubt you are a fairy godmother in disguise. Raquel – you ensured our big day ran smoothly from the moment we arrived until we danced late into the night, and every little detail was perfect.

“Sunshine Weddings provided a brilliant service leading up to the wedding, ensuring that suppliers were fully aware of what was needed on the day. We even had a meet-up two days before to run through the timings, which was so helpful. It was the best day ever. Getting married in Spain was a dream come true. No hassle, just lots of fun memories. Scott was there on the wedding day at the church, in the background, and Sharon was fab at keeping me calm and ensuring everything ran smoothly. Massive thanks to Justine for all her co-ordination and helpful reminders along the way. We chose the Hacienda for our reception and I know people will be talking about this fairytale venue for years to come.
All of the suppliers were there to answer questions via email leading up to the big day and provided a fantastic service on the day. Subtle and beautiful makeup by Lucy, beautiful flowers from Shona, amazing decor at the Hacienda by Yvonne, bridal car and transfers from Anabel were on time with smart drivers and Issy was a phenomenal photographer, nothing was too much trouble.”

We simply can’t thank Sunshine Weddings enough for all the work they did throughout the 12 months of planning leading up to the big day and beyond. Such is their service that they eliminate the stress and make you feel that you are in safe hands. which is particularly important when you’re coordinating such a big event from the UK.
Scott in particular was great to work with – always calm and positive, offering expert advice and nothing ever seemed too much trouble. His team are great, too, offering a high level of attention throughout the planning, with such an attentive approach.
On the day, the team were involved in all the key prep ensuring everything was arranged perfectly. This ranged from coordinating the florists, transporting guests to venue and casting an eye over the venue to make sure it looked the best it could. The commitment they show is unparalleled with a meticulous approach to making the day run as smoothly as possible.
Our wedding did present big challenges (not of Sunshine Wedding’s making) but Scott and his team made these seem like simple tasks managed in a such a personable and yet professional way. We count ourselves lucky to have chosen this wedding organizer, where we walked away not only with a superb service but a friendship.
