Sea View Rustic Villa In Mallorca

The island of Mallorca is known for its rustic yet elegant Spanish charm, and there’s no venue more breathtaking than this historic wedding venue dating back to the 16th century. Situated in Deia to the west of the island, its old stone building and gardens overlook the ocean and offer couples a unique ceremony location perched on top of a mountain.

This majestic estate once belonged to Archduke Luis Salvador of Austria and boasts beautifully kept gardens, a castle-like entry, greenhouses, pagodas and balconies overlooking the sea. The property is filled with palms and small manicured trees, and also has a selection of Moorish style terraces to enjoy – including an old oil mill. The building’s square tower is over five hundred years old, its wide walls a reminder of a time when grand homes had to be defended from invaders. Legend has it, according to the Archduke himself, that it was from this very tower that the last woman in the Mallorca was kidnapped by pirates.

Our rustic Mallorcan wedding venue is famed for the picturesque ‘Des Galliner ‘ – the Ionic marble temple of Carrara situated on the edge of the property’s cliff. It is here that wedding guests can be seated running along the length of the platform jutting out over the mountain edge, and are treated to a panoramic view of the Foradada below. Popular with couples wanting a sunset wedding, an outdoor ceremony at this historic sea-view venue also guarantees unforgettable wedding photos. A truly peaceful idyll, it is also a great place to enjoy pre-dinner cocktails overlooking the stunning vistas. According to the venue, this is the best vantage point to view the north of the island. It was also the location of Laura and Paul’s date in the final of Love Island 2018.

Dining beside the backdrop of this great Moorish building, the patio offers space for up to 150 diners. Our caterers are famed for some of Mallorca’s greatest fare, so guests will experience true Spanish cuisine in a traditional rustic setting. Our special sea-view mountain venue provides a perfect blank canvas for your special day, meaning our team can create your dream theme – be it romantic and magical or a more rustic and dramatic affair.

Inside, our sea-view wedding venue is just as impressive. The stately home interiors are perfect for banquet-like dining or for celebrating into the evening. Classified as a museum since 1927, as well as a national history heritage site, works by Joaquín Mir and Antonio Ribas Oliver hang on the walls of this great building. Its halls display Greek and Roman ceramics, and an alabaster statue of the Virgin Mary dating back to the 13th century can also be found surrounded by Roman amphoras, Mallorcan antique furniture, Greek statuettes and Mallorcan fabrics.

This is a beautiful, majestic and unforgettable retreat in one of the island’s prettiest locations. A wedding in our Mallorcan sea-view venue means a celebration seeped in history and charm – a wedding that no one will ever forget.
