Friends and Family,
Welcome to our wedding reception site. We hope you can join us in celebrating our marriage in the beautiful Hacienda San Jose in Southern Spain, surrounded by fantastic views of mountains, old Spanish towns and the Mediterranean sea. We cannot wait for the 24th of September to arrive!
As you may know we met while travelling overland from London to Sydney. Seven months of fantastic experiences, and seeing some amazing parts of the world. We don’t think either of us had expected that adventure to lead to this one! We have therefore decided to incorporate a travel theme into the celebrations. Which you may have already guessed after receiving the invitations!
We are so happy to have all of you in our lives, your support and love means a lot to us. We cordially invite you to join us for the wedding celebration on Saturday, 24 September 2016, for ‘Bia, ól, craic agus ceol‘ We hope you can wish us the best of happiness on our new(ish) adventure as a married couple.

Coach transport
We have arrange for coaches to pick up centrally from La Cala de Mijas at 14:45. They will pick up from the bus stop outside of the Town Hall in La Cala which is on the central roundabout opposite to the Irish Bar Biddy Mulligans (there is a metal statue of a donkey behind the bus stop) and a Chemist on the other corner. There will be a 55 seater which will take you to the main road by the Hacienda San Jose, and a 23 seater which will then act as a shuttle for the access road as the larger coach cannot access it. Please be on time so that when the coaches arrive they can leave straight away as they are not allowed to wait long at the bus stop.
For any guests not using the coach transport, please arrive at the Hacienda by 15:30 at the latest as the ceremony will start at 16:00 prompt. Following the ceremony, there will be a 60 minute drinks and canapes reception followed by dinner and live music and dancing.

Wedding Menu
We have chosen the following wedding menu and there is a choice of starters and main course options. However, these options need to be confirmed in advance, so can you please let me have your choices by the end of June 2016. Please also let me know if you have any special dietary requirements (eg. food allergies).

El Oceano is a luxury boutique hotel located directly on the sea front about 10 minutes from the Hacienda San Jose. We have arranged some discounted rates for our guests. Please note that children under 14 years of age are not permitted to stay at the hotel.

There is a train that goes from the airport to Fuengirola, and from there you could take a taxi if you are going further.
