After seven years of growing up together and one comical engagement, we are happy to invite you to share with us, the moment we have all been waiting for…..THE WEDDING!!
The BIG DAY
The ceremony will take place in the XIV Century Convent, La Almoraima. ‘Saturday, ‘6th Sept 2014 at 4pm followed by the reception also to take place in the grounds of the old Convent.
THE PLACE
La Almoraima Hotel is a 14,000-hectare inland hunting estate, creaking with the weight of history It was built in 1603 by the Duke of Medinacelli, who was one of Spain’s grandest noblemen ‘ Almoraima later became a monastery before it was converted into a luxury boutique hotel. It is only a 15 minutes’ drive inland from Sotogrande, being on the edge of the stunning Alcornocales Natural Park and close to atmospheric old town of Castellar de la Frontera in the Province of Cadiz.
EVENTS
To kick off the festivities a get together will take place on the Friday evening at a traditional Spanish Tapas Bar in the main square of the village for a casual reunion and catch up. The Big Day will…be a Big Day!! To continue on the celebrations, on the Sunday, we’re hosting an afternoon BBQ in La Almoraima by the pool that we hope you all can make!!
ACCOMMODATION
We have held a certain amount of rooms at the Hotel NH Castellar, only a few minutes from La Almoraima and have negotiated a discounted rate for our guests – details below:

FLIGHTS
The closest airport to fly into is Gibraltar.
- Monarch operate from Luton, Birmingham and Manchester www.monarch.co.uk and
- Easyjet fly in from Gatwick www.easyjet.com.
Otherwise, Malaga is the nearest airport with all the low cost airlines operating from all UK airports on a daily basis.
TRANSFERS/CAR HIRE Gibraltar – Transfers
If you are flying into Gibraltar the transfer company we would recommend you use would be Calypso Travel. The smallest minibus they have is a 22 seater and by law there needs to be a minimum of 8 passengers on the minibus so this would only really be ideal if there were a number of you all travelling on the same flight. A transfer from Gibraltar Airport to the venue would be around �100 per mini bus.
