Imagine an idyllic autumn afternoon, with guests enjoying chilled champagne under shade sails, accompanied by live music and a roaming photographer capturing every precious moment. Nestled in the heart of Costa del Sol, this recently refurbished finca provided the perfect backdrop for Erin and Lewis to exchange vows surrounded by loved ones, creating unforgettable memories in paradise.

A finca wedding is a popular choice for several reasons. Many couples are drawn to the secluded and paradisiacal settings these venues offer, providing tranquillity and relaxation on their special day. This particular finca stands out for its abundant green spaces, tropical gardens, and breathtaking sea views.

The Ceremony—set in a chic outdoor space

Within the finca, there are several elegant spaces ideal for hosting a wedding ceremony. Erin and Lewis selected a picturesque spot—nestled between two majestic palm trees with sweeping views of the shimmering Mediterranean Sea—to exchange vows in an intimate ceremony. Against the backdrop of a simple yet elegant white wooden ceremony structure adorned with flowers, greenery, and baby’s breath, they became husband and wife.

The ceremony ended with guests cheering and clapping as Stevie Wonder’s “Signed, Sealed, Delivered” played during the recessional and everyone was invited to join in for a celebratory drink.

The cocktail hour—under the shade sails

Afterwards, guests settled once again under the shade sails mingling with friends and family while enjoying a variety of canapés and drinks, such as salmon skewers with fine herbs, a selection of sushi rolls, chicken pita kebabs, quiche of Payoyo cheese, and croquettes of Iberian ham.

As guests continued to enjoy bites of tasty canapes and listened to live music by local musician Annya on violin, the newlyweds were whisked away for a pre-sunset photo shoot at the hands of the hugely talented Issy. Against the backdrop of lush greenery and bathed in soft natural lighting, Issy skillfully captured some truly stunning and warm, sun-kissed moments between the couple.

This venue offers different spaces which allows for a change of scene throughout the day, such as an elegant indoor space that, however, on this occasion, the bridal couple had opted for an al fresco dining, providing an outdoor option for the wedding feast on the left hand side of the garden. Once the guests were seated, all enjoyed a delicious spread which included a selection of shared tapas followed by a choice of medallions of Iberian sirloin, smoked potato mille-feuille and mushrooms with a crispy vegetable stick or sea bass fillet over artichoke hearts & wild asparagus with romesco drop.

The delicious menu was finished off with creamy white chocolate with brownie and vanilla ice cream and a choice of coffee and infusions.

The first dance—under enhancing outdoor fairy lights

As dusk settled, enhancing outdoor twinkling lights came into play, creating a fairy-tale vibe and set the mood for the romantic first dance. Following the first dance, DJ Dave and saxophonist Demian took over, delivering a dynamic duo set that got everyone on their feet and dancing the night away.

Just before midnight, guests were invited to move into the indoor space where they were able to continue partying into the small hours and enjoyed a round of late night snacks, including wedding cake, ending the sweet day on a sweet note!

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Erin and Lewis for allowing us to be a part of their special day. Wishing them a lifetime of joy and happiness together. A special thank you to the immensely talented Issy for capturing unforgettable moments, and to all our suppliers for their dedication and professionalism in making this day truly remarkable.
