001 — *Sunny beachside wedding venue in Spain.*

PART 1

Sunshine Weddings Spain has been managing weddings for couples in the south of Spain for over ten years, and for us there is nothing more fantastic than having the opportunity to share the wonders of our spectacular Costa del Sol with bridal couples that live miles away from Spain. One such couple were the ever fun-loving Eleshia and David whose, destination seaside wedding in Marbella and pre-wedding party we planned.

Eleshia and David, although originally Irish, live in Canada. As they have family scattered around the globe they were looking for a beach-side wedding location with guaranteed sunshine, so they naturally gravitated toward the Mediterranean coast. Having seen the fantastic weddings we have worked on over the years via the power of the internet, and having researched everything Marbella and its surrounding areas had to offer, they asked us to help them plan their big day without having to come out and see it beforehand. We love a challenge and we had a great time helping organize this wonderful couple’s seaside wedding in Marbella.

Over the year of planning, we had many opportunities to meet the couple ‘face-to-face’, via Skype, and during our meetings we were able to show them photographs and video footage we took of the venues on offer. They wanted somewhere not too formal but still elegant, on the beach, with a soft-pastel colour scheme and beach theming. They eventually chose a fantastic venue in a quiet location just ten minutes from Marbella with complete exclusivity of the venue and breathtaking views.

Eleshia had very specific ideas about her beach themed wedding in Marbella and we worked together choosing the right suppliers and providers for her to get the ideal flowers and cake. We also work closely with stylists when our couples want those extra details that really make their wedding day unique. They chose David Toms as their photographer (which as you can see in the photographs captured their fun-loving personalities and all the beautiful wedding details perfectly) and we played them videos and tracks from our musicians so they were active in every single aspect of their day. They even had a family member from Ireland fly over to give their verdict on the food tasting!

The week before the wedding arrived and we were finally able to meet Eleshia and David in person. They were over the moon with everything we had set in place and when they got to walk through their wedding venue for the first time their eyes lit up and wedding excitement mounted.
