When the Sunshine Weddings Spain team put together Caitlin and Simon’s schedule for their complimentary tour to find their dream wedding venue in Spain, we were really excited to be given the opportunity to show the bridal couple some absolutely stunning wedding locations and settings.
Scott met the bridal couple and drove them to a variety of wedding venues in Spain so they could get a feel for the styles and locations that were available. They drove through Andalucia home to typically white washed villages with cobbled streets where you would find your more rural rustic wedding villas in Spain, and then along the coast with sun drenched golden sandy beaches laying home to contemporary beach clubs or boutique hotels, all perfect for any type of authentic wedding in Spain.
They finally arrived at Scott’s special location after having covered almost 400 km of Spanish road. The wedding venue in Spain was an isolated wedding villa venue in Cordoba less than a minutes drive from Iznajar Lake and set in a traditional Andalucian village. Catlin and Simon instantly knew this was the perfect Spanish wedding venue and so the planning began.
Close family and guests stayed in the villa wedding venue in Cordoba whilst their remaining wedding guests took rooms in the hotel that looked right over the lake, the views were breathtaking.
Once Caitlin and Simon had found their dream wedding venue in Spain they completely relaxed and let the team at Sunshine Weddings Spain work their magic to create a rustic wedding in Spain that would become the most relaxed and exciting day of their lives.
The garden of the villa took centre stage with the ceremony and cocktail hour filling the areas, followed by a buffet dinner served in the authentic Moorish dining room.
Caitlin and Simon knew exactly what they wanted and we listened carefully to their requirements, we found them a very special wedding venue in Spain which was the starting point to creating their wonderful wedding story and memories for all their family and close friends to cherish and for Caitlin and Simon to have their Spanish “happy ever after”.
