We are so excited about getting married and are over the moon that you are considering joining us in Mijas, Spain for our special day on Saturday 29th August 2015.
Spain is a beautiful country with stunning scenery, gorgeous beaches and pretty much guaranteed sun, and given we moved 11,000 miles from home to live in the sunshine, it was the perfect choice for us to spend’quality’time with our closest friends and family in beautiful sunshine, not too far from the UK. ‘Mijas isn’t far from the airport (closest is Malaga) and is surrounded by great places to stay, eat and drink. ‘The Venue we have chosen is beautiful and exactly what we both wanted from our dream wedding day It’s a beautiful villa called the Hacienda San Jose www.villaweddingspain.com which is just outside the coastal town of la Cala de Mijas.
We will be arriving in Mijas on Monday 24th August 2015 and planning to enjoy a full week holiday around our special day. You are welcome to join us at any time during our stay.
The 29th August 2015 is the most important date for your diary and in true ‘Craig’ style, we have also planned a wind-down ‘Bloody-Mary BBQ’ on the Sunday 30th at the villa. ‘Invitations will follow early next year with full details, however the info below might help you plan your trip. ‘This website will also let you know what we are planning on the run up to the big day, so keep your eye on it for updates!
Our ceremony will start promptly at 4pm please make sure you arrive in plenty of time to take your seats as only Alicia is allowed to be late on this day!

TRANSFERS
We would recommend a company called Malaga Transfer and have negotiated discounted prices to Mijas Costa as follows:
- Standard car ( type Ford Mondeo or similar) ‘with capacity for 4 people + 3 medium suitcases: 53 euros, which is cheaper than a normal taxi from the airport which is around €70.
- In an executive car ‘(type Mercedes’ E class, Audi A6 or similar) with capacity for 4 people + 3 medium suitcases 64 euros.
- In a luxury car type Mercedes S class or similar ‘capacity for 4 people +’ 3 medium suitcases : 76 euros.
- In a people carrier up to 7 people: 75 euros.
- Microbus up to 12 people: 100 euros.
