Finca Wedding Marbella: Nikki and Sean’s Fabulous Day with Family and Friends…

Nikki and Sean spent the most magical few days in Spain celebrating their wedding at one of the most beautiful fincas in Marbella; one of the most beautiful fincas in southern Spain!

The Sunshine Weddings team absolutely loved showing the vivacious couple around during their initial visit, after putting together an impressive list of destination wedding venues. But in the end it was the Finca in Marbella that stole Nikki and Sean’s hearts:

“All the places we saw were amazing but we are over the moon with our final choice of the Finca, and it looked amazing as it transformed through both the day and night. Our guests were blown away by the place and now think we’re millionaires…”

Which is hardly surprising given the venue is known locally Marbella’s ‘secret garden’; a place of outstanding natural beauty where guests can party until dawn with the freedom of not having to worry about noise restrictions. It truly is the most breathtakingly idyllic hilltop venue, offering up fantastic views over Marbella and the Old Town, as well as the Sierra Blanca mountains and the aquamarine Mediterranean Sea. All set in four hectares of stunning gardens and fountains.

The lush, green sloping pathway leading up to the ceremony area is so charming. Guests sit either wise of the pathway and have the most magnificent view of the nuptials. It’s almost ethereal and other-worldly. Talia, the photographer captures all of this with stunning effect.

As if that wasn’t tempting enough, the gardens also include extensive terraces and views from different levels. Guests feel they are in paradise taking in the great contrasts of vegetation, aromatic floral areas and the quaint stream which cascades beautifully.

The newlyweds were particularly impressed by the catering, which they dubbed ‘amazing’; the finer details had all been thoroughly noted, no stone left un-turned, and the end result was an incredible feast for all the senses, from the food on the table, through to the table setting and the exquisite panoramic sea view.

At dusk the venue’s glorious gardens are transformed into a sparkly paradise with some gorgeous and imaginative lighting displays, and the pool further illuminated so that the water shimmers a deep and tantalising blue.

Rock, soul, funk band, The Q provided the evening entertainment (alongside DJ Fuller). It’s no coincidence their motto is ‘no sitting down‘ as just about everyone was up on the LED dance floor that had been set up on the spacious lawn in the gardens, dancing into the early hours and having lots of fun.

The next day the celebrations continued at one of Marbella’s most popular and stylish beach chiringuitos, giving the couple chance to catch up properly with family and friends after the whirlwind of excitement that was their special day.

“Thank you from the bottom of our hearts! All exceeded our expectations by miles. We will sing your praises from the rooftops!!!” is the fabulous way that Nikki and Sean summed up their wedding day and experience of working with us. We can ask for no better compliment than that.
