Bridal Preparations – A Flurry of Activity

On the wedding morning, excitement filled the bridal suite as hair and makeup artists prepared the bride and her party. Flowers arrived for final arrangements, buttonholes were pinned, and laughter mingled with emotional exchanges. As the time drew nearer, the anticipation built. Each instance was a snapshot of heartfelt moments, and with a few last hugs and adjustments, the curtain was raised, revealing the radiant bride ready for her big day.

Welcome – Spanish Melodies

As guests arrived in the mid-afternoon at the rustic finca, they were greeted by the ambient melodies of a Spanish guitarist, David Cale, stationed in the pergola area. A water and cava station provided a refreshing pause amidst the tranquil surroundings, allowing guests to gather and mingle in the lush garden spaces. Meanwhile, the final preparations were underway in the bridal suite and the excitement grew.

Once all guests had gathered and enjoyed a moment of relaxed mingling, the groomsmen guided them to the ceremony area, seamlessly transitioning to the wedding formalities.

Ceremony – Surrounded by Lush Greenery

In the villa’s gardens, the bridal couple, surrounded by loved ones, exchanged vows in a touching ceremony led by Costa del Sol-based Humanist Minister Jeff Gurner. A simple, yet elegant canopy with draped fabric provided a picturesque backdrop and music played softly in the background, courtesy of local Spanish guitarist David, adding to the charm of the moment. With a petal-strewn aisle completing the scene, the chic setting served for some wonderful memories —and photographs.

Cocktail Hour Bliss – Drinks and Canapés

Following the touching ceremony, guests enjoyed drinks and canapés on the villa’s lawn. An assortment of cheese, Iberian hams, and delectable skewers were served, providing a variety of flavours for guests to enjoy. As they mingled and celebrated the newlyweds, laughter and chatter filled the air. Meanwhile, the photographer, Issy, whisked the newlyweds away for some more photos in the grounds of the villa, capturing moments of happiness and love amid the picturesque surroundings.

Al fresco Wedding Breakfast with Mediterranean-Inspired Dishes

The wedding breakfast took place outdoors in a garden area with distant sea views, providing guests with a picturesque setting. Tables were arranged amid the lush greenery, creating a relaxed atmosphere complemented by the gentle breeze carrying hints of the ocean. There, guests were treated to a selection of Mediterranean-inspired dishes, such as succulent Iberian Pork Sirloin Medallions and fresh Sea Bass fillets accompanied by seasonal vegetables and flavorful sauces.

As speeches were delivered, a local touch was introduced with a Pacharan shot, adding a taste of tradition to the celebration. Guests were also treated to freshly brewed coffees, served alongside a refreshing dessert of lemon pie on pineapple carpaccio. The burst of citrus flavour provided an exquisite conclusion to the wedding feast, signalling that it was time for the celebration to be taken to the next level.

With a DJ and saxophonist duo at the helm and an open bar serving premium spirits, the festivities stretched into the early hours. Late-night snacks like decadent chocolates kept energy levels up, ensuring the celebration remained lively until the end.
