Bridal Preparations – Luxury Wedding Villa Costa del Sol
As the morning sun illuminated the landscape, Hannah began her bridal preparations in a cosy nearby cottage. Surrounded by her girl gang, the atmosphere was filled with laughter and excitement. Amid giggles and toasts, hair was styled, makeup applied, and dresses carefully donned.
As Hannah slipped into her wedding gown – an elegant creation with an open back, long floaty see-through sleeves, and an A-line silhouette with a slight tail – there were audible gasps of admiration and a few emotional tears shed. The room buzzed with anticipation as reality sank in – today was the day she had been dreaming of.
A Warm Welcome – Private Wedding Venue Benahavis
As guests arrived at this private wedding venue in Benahavis, they were warmly greeted by the Best Man, Mark, who guided them to a shaded pergola area where refreshing welcome drinks awaited. Set against the backdrop of soothing tunes from a carefully selected playlist, loved ones mingled and relaxed, soaking in the tranquil atmosphere. Meanwhile, the radiant bride, Hannah, shared a moving first look moment with her father, a touching scene expertly captured by Costa del Sol based photographer, Issy.
The air buzzed with anticipation as the day’s festivities began to unfold.
The Wedding Ceremony – An Outdoor Garden Setting
Underneath the azure sky, guests gathered in the rustic garden ceremony area. Simple wooden chairs lined the aisle, adorned with parasols on each side to provide shade from the sun. At the front, a white table stood adorned with a flickering candle and vibrant flowers, offering a picturesque setting overlooking the coastline.
A hush fell over the crowd as the bride, escorted by her father, made her way down the outdoor aisle towards the awaiting groom. With Minister for Ceremony Gareth presiding, the ceremony began. Surrounded by loved ones seated amid verdant rows, heartfelt vows were said and rings were exchanged, sealing the bridal couple’s bond.
As the ceremony came to an end, Hannah and Karim walked back up the outdoor aisle, hand in hand, amid a shower of petals and cheers, now united as husband and wife.
Drinks Reception -Toasts and Canapés
Following the ceremony, guests were invited to a drinks reception in the shaded pergola area. Glasses clinked in celebration as cava flowed freely, accompanied by an array of delectable canapés, each bite bursting with the rich flavours of Southern Spain; from mini beef steaks on garlic croûtes to tangy Thai prawn skewers. The drinks reception also provided a perfect opportunity for photographer Issy to capture snapshots with the closest friends and family, adding to the treasure trove of memories from Hannah and Karim’s special day.
Wedding Breakfast – Poolside Soirée
As dusk settled over the private wedding venue in Benahavis, guests gathered by the pool for a sumptuous wedding breakfast, featuring mains of harissa-marinated chicken and slow-braised Moroccan lamb. Amid the delicious cuisine, heartfelt speeches were shared, beginning with a touching tribute from the father-of-the-bride. Following the speeches, guests enjoyed a decadent dessert of lemongrass panna cotta and toasted coconut. The cutting of the single-tiered wedding cake, adorned with fresh flowers, was the true “icing on the cake”, symbolising the couple’s love and commitment to one another.
As night fell, the festivities ramped up with DJ Kmiss keeping the dance floor packed until the early hours and the addition of a photobooth added extra entertainment to the celebration, capturing fun-filled moments. The late-night marked the end of a magical day filled with love and laughter, but not the end of the festivities…
Post-Wedding Party – BBQ Pool Day
The following day, guests relaxed with a chill-out BBQ by the pool. A moment for Hannah and Karim and their guests to gather again at this private wedding venue, unwind, reflect back on the previous day and enjoy the moment.
