Preparing for the Big Day – Bridal Preparations

As the morning of the wedding unfolded, the bridal suite buzzed with activity. Hair and makeup artists worked on the bride and her party, while final touches were made to floral arrangements and boutonnieres. Laughter and emotional moments filled the air as anticipation grew, and with a few last-minute adjustments and hugs, the radiant bride was ready to step into the spotlight on her special day.

Welcome – Gathering at the Finca

In the mid-afternoon, guests arrived at the rustic finca for a welcome drink selection including sangria, beer, and soft drinks. The shaded terrace provided a comfortable spot for mingling, accompanied by a catchy playlist. As guests gathered and chatted in the lush garden spaces, final preparations buzzed in the bridal suite, adding to the excitement.

Once everyone had gathered and enjoyed a moment of relaxed socialising, the groomsmen directed them to the ceremony area, smoothly transitioning to the wedding formalities.

Wedding Ceremony – Open-Air Amphitheatre

In the venue’s impressive amphitheatre, guests found their seats while a violinist serenaded with instrumental music. In this enchanting setting, surrounded by loved ones, the bridal couple exchanged vows in a beautiful ceremony led by celebrant Kevin. The outdoor ceremony unfolded beneath a simple yet elegant canopy with draped fabric, offering a picturesque backdrop. Adorned with a large flower arrangement of white hydrangeas, roses, and baby’s breath, it set the stage for the exchange of rings and heartfelt vows, accompanied by the soft background music played by local violinist Laura Sanchez.

The romantic setting provided ample photo opportunities of the newlyweds, with guests staying shaded under individual sun parasols that had been provided for everyone. With the exchange of wedding rings, the ceremony concluded, and it was time for lively music, mingling, chatter and festivities to resume.

Cocktail Hour – Music, Drinks, and Delicious Bites

The cocktail hour took place in a shaded area which offered guests a pleasant setting to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Laura’s violin melodies continued to fill the air, providing a soothing backdrop for an hour of relaxed mingling. As drinks were served and conversation flowed, guests were treated to a tempting array of canapés, including chicken satay pinchitos with peanut sauce, mini beef steak on a garlic croute with hollandaise sauce, tiny parmesan and rosemary shortbread, and herb chicken wrapped in prosciutto served with allioli. This combination of music, drinks, and delicious bites made for an enjoyable cocktail hour, providing the perfect prelude into an evening of festivities. Additionally, it offered a moment for family photos captured by the talented Salvador from Evergreen Malaga.

Sunset Wedding Breakfast and Evening Dancing

As the sun dipped below the horizon, the celebration transitioned to the spacious terrace. There, guests enjoyed a romantic dining experience accompanied by musical entertainment from Martin, a local Frank Sinatra singer. With scenic views and a choice of white or red wine, a multi-course meal was served. Starters included options like cajun grilled chicken with crispy corn cake watercress salad and yoghurt dressing, or timbale of smoked salmon and tiger prawns with shredded gem lettuce, avocado, and marie rose sauce. For mains, guests could choose from butterflied lemon chicken with Mexican rice and chipotle or Argentinian beef fillet with a pepper chipotle coriander and lime salsa, roasted parmentiere potatoes, and asparagus. The meal concluded on a sweet note with a trio dessert option offered: chocolate truffle cake, Mojito fruit salad, and marble chocolate cheesecake with berry compote.

After dessert, photographer Salvador took the newlyweds for romantic pre-sunset photos. Upon their return, glasses were filled with cava for speeches, followed by everyone hitting the dance floor to continue the celebration.

The first dance, set to Kodaline’s “The One,” smoothly kicked off, thanks to DJ Tom who kept the lively vibe going well into the night, and as midnight drew near, guests were invited to move from the outdoor terrace to the indoor bar area to continue the festivities.

This change of location added variety to the celebration, contributing to a dynamic atmosphere with different spaces used throughout the day. In this final indoor space, the partying continued until the early hours, marking the finale of a magical wedding celebration in this beautiful, sunny setting of southern Spain.
