The Venue—a 17th Century Spanish Finca

An ideal wedding venue for an intimate wedding which dates back to the 17th century. It was fully restored between 2006 and 2007, preserving the character and essence of the past while accommodating modern-day comforts. Located in the heart of the Mallorcan countryside, only 7 kilometres from Palma and with impressive views of the city bay.

Welcome—Lower lawn surrounded by rolling hills of olive trees

A day filled with love and laughter saw the wedding guests arriving at this luxurious finca and with the sonoric sound of music in the background they gathered on the picturesque lower lawn for a welcome drink of cava, beer, fresh lemonade and flavoured water including: cucumber, mint and orange.

The Ceremony—Outdoor Boho setting, a moment never to be forgotten

Colourful fruit trees and verdant greenery made the ideal setting for this outdoor, contemporary boho wedding, where the wedding guests were invited to be seated on white wooden chairs positioned in the middle of the lawn facing the triangular and creative structure used by the bridal couple as an original frame to exchange their vows. A frame that was adorned by a scattering of whimsical Pampas Grass, making the ideal, romantic set-up for the bride and groom to be joined as husband and wife.

Following on from the uplifting and jovial wedding service, Chloe and Chris, now as husband and wife joined their guests in the Palmeras terrace, appropriately named for the swaying palm trees that flank the delightful site, for some refreshments and a selection of hot and cold canopies.

A moment when the newlyweds also enjoyed a pre-sunset shot at the hands of the talented Billie who captured some truly spell-binding moments and tender exchanges with a kaleidoscope of captivating colours thanks to the soft hazy Spanish sunset lighting.

The Wedding Breakfast—Viridescent upper lawn located in front of the 17th century hacienda

Dinner was then served in the upper lawn, a viridescent garden area surrounded by olive trees and vineyards, there the wedding guests were treated to a typical Spanish feast served by Michelin star awarded Fosh catering on the island of Mallorca, including mouthwatering starters of lightly smoked pork belly with sea scallops and Soller orange followed by Galician beef fillet with charred spring onions and romesco sauce for the mains or violette potato gnocchi with creamy pumpkin and pesto as a vegetarian option, and a snickers with apricot sorbet and dark chocolate sauce as the dessert to finish off this feast fit for a King and his Queen!

The Party—a romantic dance in the Palmeras terrace

The fiesta kicked off in the same space where everyone had enjoyed the drinks reception, a space where the newlyweds enjoyed their first dance to “Can’t Help Falling in Love – The Once”

The music continued at the hands of a live music band, Panela with their Rock’n Rock Hits, who did an incredible set and got the party crowd up and grooving. Dancing which then continued in an indoor space, to the vibes of a catchy playlist at the hands of a professional DJ Marc Oliver where everyone enjoyed over five hours of open bar with late night snacks served until 3am.

Some 100 guests were able to enjoy the wedding, take in the spectacular views and soak up the perfect Spanish evening before a taxi service then saw everyone taken safely back to their accommodation in Palma, ending a memorable wedding day, with lots of good wine, a great atmosphere and a stunning location.

Evening settles and fairy lights add a magical touch to the outdoor dining area.
