After being whisked away for their photos by the beach, Jackie and Karen returned to dine on a scrumptious wedding breakfast with their nearest and dearest, in the most amazing setting overlooking the golden sands and the aquamarine waves of the Mediterranean.

Same Sex Wedding in Estepona: Jackie and Karen’s Beach Club Celebration…
Last summer we were absolutely thrilled to help arrange the beautiful beach-side marriage of today’s featured couple, Jackie and Karen, who were seeking the perfect location to celebrate their special day with family and friends.

It was great to spend time with Jackie and Karen when they first flew out to Spain; to match their vision to the perfect venue: The Beach Club.

Estepona is an absolute gem of a seaside town with a distinctly cosmopolitan feel; one of those unique Mediterranean resorts that has retained its Spanish charm and shaken off commercialism, whilst welcoming tourists with its arms open wide. Its quaint backstreets are full of quirky whitewashed buildings, wonderful tapas bars, and colour pops of flower pots and geraniums – all coded per area; in fact, the town has won many awards for its outstanding blooms!

The stylish Beach Club in Estepona makes for such a fairy-tale venue, ticking so many boxes, and we were excited when the couple decided it met their requirements, because then the fun side of planning could begin!

The Beach Club truly is as brand new as it gets, having opened in July 2019. It sits in a fantastic location on one of Estepona’s very best beaches, with incredible views across to Gibraltar, and even as far afield as Morocco, on a clear day.
The venue also has large and sumptuous terraces, just perfect for wedding receptions, with its trademark atmosphere and awesome panoramic vistas. Jackie and Karen, their family and friends soaked up both in the late August sunshine. The Beach Club also boasts a luxurious swimming pool, hammock service, cocktail bar and a Japanese bar, that specializes in Asian cuisine.
As a beach-side wedding venue, the location of the Club also acts as a wonderful blank canvas for wedding decor, and Jackie and Karen’s rustic theme fitted in fabulously with the natural elements – the gold, blue and green – of the landscape. All of which lends itself beautifully for some creative wedding photography, and we take our wedding hats off to the fantastic Rebecca Davidson, who captured so many stunning shots of the happy day.

As the sun set on an unforgettable day, the party carried on until the small hours, illuminated by pretty fairy lights – the moon and the stars.
