For those who feel captivated by the charm of saying “I do” on the grounds of a traditional Spanish Finca with unbeatable views over Marbella and down to the coast, read on for Frida and Fabian’s heartwarming and touching wedding day in a stunning garden Marbella villa.

The fabulous bridal couple, both from Sweden, with a with a soft spot for Marbella—with the groom’s family having a holiday home in the area—celebrated their special day with some 100 nearest and dearest who flew into Malaga for a magical weekend in the Sunshine, making the most of the proximity of their venue to all the fun and excitement of the Costa del Sol.

Just a short taxi ride away from the Marbella town sits this stunning garden villa, which played centre stage for Frida and Fabian’s magical day.

There by the entrance to this rustic villa, near a pretty water stream and bridge, the guests enjoyed a welcome cocktail and a chance to mingle and chat with each other whilst enjoying some light Spanish guitar sounds at the hands of flamenco artist, Nano.

Before the bride arrived, all the guests moved to the ceremony area which had been set up in the garden, a magical place full of natural and rustic vibes, which provided the most romantic of backdrops for the happy day.

Finally it was time for the stunning bride to make her appearance. In a elegant V-Neck wedding dress that was fitted to the waist and fell straight to the floor with a delicate floral lace embroidery train, Frida, made her way to the ceremony area where, surrounded by a green canopy of natural elements, she was joined with the handsome groom in a legal wedding ceremony led by a local Swedish priest based in nearby Fuengirola.

Once the vows were said and the rings exchanged, the couple, now as husband and wife, walked back down the aisle of the delightful outdoor space to an uplifting Flamenco set by Nano where they joined their guests in a space between the ceremony and dining area full of leafy plants and magical waterfalls, for some refreshments and a great feast of canapés including: quiche of payoyo cheese, chicken barbecue skewers, sea bass and lime ceviche, Iberian barbecue skewers as well as langoustine with romesco sauce horns.

Following on from that, Nano continued softly strumming flamenco-style music as the newlyweds enjoyed their photo session with the talented Josefin Westin, where the verdant grounds of this traditional finca provided the ideal canvas in which to immortalise the magical day.

Dusk settled and the guests were invited to be seated in the alfresco dining area that had been set up on the lawn, there, as the newlyweds entered for dinner, the couple were showered with rose petals before taking their place at the top table where the rustic tablescape, matched perfectly with wooden cross back chairs, added a touch of chic elegance to the affair.

There the newlyweds and their loved ones enjoyed a choice of millefeuille of piña colada, langoustines and foie with parmesan cheese and Pedro Ximenez wine foam for starters, followed by Iberian Sirloin sautéed with soya, leek and mushrooms and white chocolate mousse with brownie and vanilla ice cream for dessert.

The dinner was extended to include several highly entertaining speeches before it was time to hit the dance floor where DJ Alex, who was joined by Demian on sax and Annya on violin, turned up the music and the party was taken to the next level. Everyone danced under the romantic lighting that had been hung over the dance area adding a touch of magic to the night sky for an amazing four hour dance set, sealing the most magical of days surrounded by the most romantic of backdrops.

A party that continued the following day with a relaxing post wedding brunch, allowing the newlyweds and their guests to gather one final time before leaving and adding an extra special moment for Frida and Fabian to spend more quality time with their guests and extend the best day of their lives in wonderful facilities with unbeatable views over this magical corner in Southern Spain.
