Finca Wedding Mallorca: Hattie and Jack Say ‘I Do’ in Paradise…

The Sunshine Weddings team have been helping bridal couples choose their dream destination wedding venues on this idyllic island of charming natural contrast for many years now, and the gorgeous Finca has to be one of our favourite places to witness a couple declaring their love in the presence of their family and friends. It really is a very special place.

Tucked away from it all, this is one of the island’s hidden gems; a space of sheer tranquillity and exclusivity, making it ideal for a medium-large wedding celebration.

Hattie looked absolutely captivating for her special day. Every inch the fairy-tale bride in the most spectacular wedding gown; a pretty bunch of pastel-hued peonies, and her long tousled hair perfecting the look, wowing the couple’s family and friends. The ceremony took place beneath the most picturesque floral archway, with the quaint little windmill of the Finca, completing the unique and beautiful tableau, as guests watched on in the sunshine, seated on the lawn.

The Finca may only offer a small number of bedrooms, which are mainly used for the bride, groom and their closest family, but the cosmopolitan resort of Palma is located just 15 minutes away from the venue, and makes a fabulous base for the rest of the wedding party. A wedding ceremony and celebration at this rustic Finca couldn’t be more convenient in that respect, since it is also an easy distance from the island’s airport, ensuring the logistics run smoothly.

And the day truly was a success from start to finish; a perfect Spanish island summer’s day, offering the most wonderful light for photography in and around the Finca’s many beautiful spots and stone staircases.

The wedding breakfast was enjoyed in the courtyard between the main house and the guest accommodation in the later afternoon, followed by the quintessential speeches and the cutting of the scrumptious wedding cake.

As the sun sets and night falls, the Bohemian theme can really come into its own at the Finca, with the most incredible displays of twinkly fairy lights strewn across the gardens, as well as tables decked with stunning candelabras, lanterns and tealights. The sky is the limit when it comes to wedding decor, and many couples who tie the knot here will opt for a long, flowing table layout – even a cocktail bar area in the central courtyard square. Now add a talented Spanish guitarist, band or singer to the mix, and you have an evening under the stars that your guests will remember forever!
