Welcome Drink in a Shaded Oasis
As mid-afternoon approached, guests were greeted with cava and water in a shaded area near the venue’s grand entrance. The relaxed atmosphere set the perfect tone for the day’s festivities and provided a poignant moment for the stunning bride to share an emotive first look with her father, beautifully captured by photographer Nora.
The Ceremony with Sea Views
The bridal party, led by Adam looking suave in a black and white tux and his best man, made their way to the venue’s iconic lower circle wheat threshing floor. Framed by Roman columns and boasting a view of the sea, the outdoor ceremony unfolded in this magical space adorned with eucalyptus cinerea and wooden pillars dressed in greenery and white flowers. In front of 75 guests, including those who had flown in especially for the occasion, the bride, stunning in a heart-shaped flowing lace bridal gown, made her entrance. As Lauren joined her handsome beau, Minister Jeff officiated the heartfelt ceremony, uniting them as husband and wife, with vocalist Simone enhancing the romance by serenading guests throughout.
With Simone’s exit song, the couple led everyone to the shaded welcome area, marking the end of the formalities and the commencement of the festivities.
Cocktail Hour Extravaganza
Sangria, Cava, wines, beers, and water were generously poured, complemented by a selection of enticing canapés—prawn with smoked salmon, melon and ham, roast beef tostados, and ham croquettes. Adding a touch of enchantment to the day, a magician commenced an act that captivated both the little ones and the not-so-little ones, bringing an extra layer of magic to the celebration.
Wedding Breakfast with a Paella Paradise
As dusk approached, guests made their way to the open-air terrace for the wedding breakfast. Simone’s melodic voice continued to serenade the wedding guests while they enjoyed tapas starters, including stuffed peppers, meatballs, and chicken croquetas. The focal point of the feast was the paella station, presenting a trio of choices—mixed seafood and king prawn, chicken and chorizo, and vegetables with asparagus and artichokes. A palate-cleansing mango sorbet concluded the typically Spanish meal.
As the guests wrapped up the meal, the couple was whisked away for pre-sunset photos. Nora captured captivating couple shots against the backdrop of Marbella’s natural landscapes. Soon after, all glasses were filled with cava as the father-of-the-bride initiated the speeches, signalling the start of the party.
DJ Set and Late-Night Snacks
As the night progressed, DJ Steve took the stage, spinning tunes that kept the dance floor alive for five hours. The first dance to Nat King Cole’s “L.O.V.E” marked a special moment for Lauren and Adam, and as midnight struck, the transition from an outdoor party to an indoor celebration unfolded seamlessly. Late-night snacks, featuring mini burgers, fueled the wedding guests until the festivities concluded at 2 am, marking the end of an unforgettable day celebrated in picturesque setting and surrounded by loved ones.
