Nestled between mountain views and the panoramic sea vista, this venue has captivated bridal couples for over four decades. The lush 14,000-metre garden provides an idyllic setting for both ceremony and outdoor dining and its hidden walkways and picturesque nooks, with breathtaking views of the sea, make it a photographer’s paradise.

What’s more, at just five minutes from Marbella’s city centre, this secluded retreat combines tranquillity with convenient accessibility, and became the dream backdrop for Kate and Oli’s magical day, which we will revisit in today’s special bridal story.

Welcome- Venue Magic and Surprises

Reflecting on Kate and Oli’s wedding day at this popular Spanish rustic venue, the scene unfolded as guests arrived amid rolling hills and farmland. Greeted by a mojito station, they enjoyed a refreshing kick-off to the festivities.

Adding a delightful twist, singing waiters took the spotlight, infusing fun and laughter into the commencement of the celebration. Their unexpected performance marked the initiation of a day full of unique and memorable moments.

Ceremony- An Enchanting Outdoor Setting

Amid an idyllic outdoor scene and guided by the tunes of a local Spanish guitarist, Nano, Kate, radiant in her embroidered lace heart-shaped bridal dress, joined the dashing groom, Oli, who looked impeccable in his smart beige suit.

The ceremony took place under a simple yet elegant four-poster arch draped in white fabric and adorned with abundant white flowers. Led by the local wedding Minister Jeff, the couple exchanged vows in the presence of 80 guests, basking in the sunshine and surrounded by lush gardens and shade from overhanging trees. The atmosphere buzzed with tender moments as vows were said, rings were exchanged and promises were shared.

Amid applause and a rose petal shower, the newlyweds made their exit framed by the mountains and sea, marking the start of their life as a married couple.

Drinks Reception – with flamenco serenades

After the heartfelt ceremony, the warm Spanish evening extended into a relaxed drinks reception. Nano’s flamenco strumming created an upbeat vibe as guests sipped on cocktails and savoured tasty canapés. From tomato and mozzarella skewers with basil to cheddar cheese balls, bites cocktails, vegetables tempura, and an assortment of Iberian hams, the array of flavours set the stage for an evening filled with culinary delights.

Wedding Breakfast – featuring Spanish flavours

At the Wedding Breakfast, the venue’s rustic charm blended well with the Spanish-inspired culinary feast. The tapas featured classics like chistorra sausages, Spanish omelette dices, and meatballs with tomato sauce.

For the main course, guests had a choice between chicken or vegetable paella, both rich in authentic Spanish flavours, and the meal concluded with a delicious lemon tart on pineapple. The simple yet tasty dishes were a hit, leaving everyone satisfied, making the Spanish-themed wedding feast a delicious part of the celebration.

Evening Party – Timeless Charm of a Rustic Marbella Celebration

As the evening unfolded, the wedding breakfast transitioned into a lively party. The first dance, set to “World of Your Own” by Westlife, marked the couple’s spotlight moment and DJ Steve’s beats kept the energetic atmosphere alive, ensuring the dance floor was never empty and the additional element of a fun photobooth ensured plenty of amusing moments were captured.

The celebration continued until the early hours, wrapping up a day filled with love, laughter, and the delightful charm of a rustic Marbella gathering.

We want to take this opportunity to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Kate and Oli for entrusting us with their special day. You were a delightful couple to work with and we wish you all the best in this next chapter of life.
