As the guests gathered on the grounds of this luxury villa, they enjoyed a refreshing glass of Sangria and some soft ambient music which floated over the lush lawn to mix with their excited chatter before being invited to take their seats in preparation for the ceremony at the villa.

A balmy spring breeze enveloped the wedding guests as they sat in anticipation for the bride to arrive; with panoramic views to the Mediterranean sea on one side and the majestic backdrop of the mountains that frame the charming white-washed village of Ojen on the other.

As family and friends soaked up the gentle May sunshine in the wonderful open-air setting, the glamorous bride in a stunning bridal gown made her grand entrance escorted on the arm of her father, and joined the dashing groom in a verdant enclave in the midst of the villa, where the elegant outdoor ceremony area had been set-up.

After the beautiful ceremony, the newlyweds and their guests dined on a fabulous wedding feast which commenced with the serving of some tasty hot and cold canapes including a selection of sushi rolls, chicken pita kebabs, quiche of payoyo cheese and chicken barbecue skewers, all washed down with plenty of beer from the “help yourself” beer corner that had been set-up and served as prelude to the main meal.

The feat continued with a tasty BBQ including generous helpings of pork cut, chicken churrasco, and homemade sausages, with a salad station available and enjoyed on the lower garden where guests were mesmerised by the striking sea views as the golden sun dipped in the horizon.

The mouthwatering meal and stunning vistas were followed up by the much-awaited first dance to Al Green – “Let’s stay together”. At which point… along came the brilliantly talented The Voice UK participant, Moni Tivony, who did an amazing vocal set which ignited the party and surprised and delighted the guests.

Family and friends partied into the early hours under twinkling lights and a moon-lit sky, making good what the venue had been promised, a place to stay late and have a good party!

Victoria and James were a fantastic couple to work with and we immensely enjoyed helping them plan their special day. On behalf of the Sunshine Weddings Team, we wish them all the very best for a long and happy future together.

Taking the opportunity to extend a huge thank you to The Love Hunters for the use of these incredible images.

Late-night party.
