From the dream to the reality at an idyllic romantic hideaway in Marbella…
Most bridal stories commence way before the actual wedding day, and the hunt for the perfect wedding location is one of the most exciting parts of the wedding journey, and is when many bridal couples reach out to us for advice, wedding location suggestions and take advantage of our complimentary wedding venue finding tour.
In the case of today’s bridal story, featuring the lovely Stacey and Luke, our brief was at an idyllic romantic hideaway in Marbella—given that the bridal couple have a family home in the area—so the search for their dream wedding venue in Spain began.
Marbella is blessed with several stunning wedding venues, but there is one that stands out for its extensive 14,000m2 gardens which offers clients infinite possibilities to bring to life their dream day.
The fairytale dream wedding venue in Spain that had captured the hearts of Stacey and Luke now became their reality as the big day arrived.
Whilst waiting for the radiant bride to make her anticipated appearance, the wedding guest enjoyed some refreshing drinks under a large pergola set in the grounds of this sought-after garden wedding venue, located in the heart of the Costa del Sol.
The couple exchanged their vows in an intimate wedding ceremony made all the more special given that the ceremony music was performed by several of the bridal couple’s friends who did a beautiful vocal and guitar set.
The magic then continued back at the large pergola where everyone enjoyed a selection of cocktails including mojitos, strawberry daiquiris and aperol spritz from a cocktail station. In this unbeatable location, with sea views from the mountain, guests were also served an array of hot and cold canapes all the while relaxing to the sound of a live jazz player as the newlyweds enjoyed an intimate photo session at the hands of the talented Rebecca Davidson.
Pre-sunset snaps taken and the wedding party were invited to their wedding breakfast laid out in the lower garden area with beautiful views of the bay.
There guests enjoyed a fantastic BBQ buffet including: chicken churrasco, beef entrecote, homemade sausages and chicken wings with a range of accompaniments such as wrinkled potatoes, rice, vegetable skewers, baked tomatoes, potato purée, corn on the cob and sautéed mushrooms, in short, a feast fit for a King and his Queen, which was finished off with delicious white chocolate mousse with brownie and vanilla ice cream.
The party then continued once again back by the pergola where the venue’s indirect lighting, together with the golden sunset rays created a stunning fairytale vibe and the perfect setting for the bride and groom’s first dance to The Lighthouse Family’s “High.”
The music continued and gave way to an evening of partying, fueled by late-night snacks and plenty of love and laughter. Thanks to Stacey and Luke for sharing with us your intimate garden wedding, held at this romantic hideaway in Marbella. Wishing you well as you embark on this next chapter of life.
Thank you also to Rebecca Davidson for the use of these incredible images and to all our providers for their continued professionalism and hard work to make each and every wedding unique and memorable.
