Read on to find out more about how a wedding day at this dream location could pan out as we reflect back on the best moments of bridal couple Karen and David’s special day celebrated there last summer.
On the first Saturday of June of last year, Karen and David’s wedding guests, following a refreshing welcome drink on the lush lawn, were invited to follow the enchanting path of a petal scattered aisle and be seated to welcome the start of a unique and special wedding.
Surrounded by some 70 friends and family and to the beautiful ceremonial music “At Last” by Etta James, the emotive wedding nuptials, led by minister Gareth, took place in the heart of the gardens. In this enviable garden setting, the talented wedding photographer Rebecca Davidson, was able to capture the essence of this marvellous couple’s ceremony blessed with blue skies.
Ambient music at the hands of Gypsy Brothers—a guitar and vocals duo—floated over the lush grounds of this dreamy venue as guests enjoyed an array of hot and cold canapes, including garlic and herb bruschetta with fresh basil and baby tomatoes, marinated salmon crepe with avocado, forks of potato and onion tortilla with saffron aioli to name but a few whilst the newlyweds, together with their nearest and dearest, enjoyed some divine family snaps taken, once again at the hands of the wonderful Rebecca Davidson.
This Spanish Hacienda boasts several areas that can be used throughout the day, and in the rear garden overlooking the turquoise swimming pool, Karen and David, together with their guests sat down to dine bathed by late afternoon rays.
In this summery space by the pool, the newlyweds and their loved ones enjoyed a choice of slow cooked crispy duck or golden breadcrumb coated brie topped with apple sauce for starters, followed by an alternative of fillets of seared beef, on a bed of creamy pumpkin or sea bass fillet with warm Catalan vegetable salad, prawn top and piquillo pepper coulis with sautéed potatoes for the mains, and a heavenly trio of desserts including tangy Spanish lemon tart and mango mousse with passion fruit topping to finish off the delicious meal.
In this privileged location, the all-important speeches were said and glasses were raised in honour of the newlyweds before the guests were invited to get their dancing shoes on.
Following the dinner and the traditional cutting of the wedding cake, the party kicked-off to the sound of flamenco tunes with a twist as the gypsy Brothers did their last music set before handing over the music baton to DJ Steve and Magasax who did a surprise Sax set taking the party to the next level where the bride and groom, together with their loved ones danced the night away ending to the most perfect of days.
Our thanks to Karen and David, for letting us help arrange their big day. We wish them many future years of happiness ahead. And our thanks to the wonderfully talented Rebecca Davidson for the awesome images.
