Sunshine Weddings work with an array of incredible venues in Malaga, and today we take a look at one which stands out for its heavenly location in a dream-like place where unforgettable weddings, like the one recently celebrated between the lovely bridal couple Arezo and Atheer, take place.

With 14,000 meters of garden, this venue offers no end of possibilities when it comes to planning services and outdoor wedding dining as we discover in today’s feature article where we walk through Arezo and Atheer magical day.

The elegant bridal couple during their wedding ceremony in Spain.

On a delightful summer’s day last August, wedding guests gathered on the grounds of this luscious wedding venue to the musical sound of a classical guitar repertoire at the hands of the accomplished Spanish guitarist Nano who played “Tale as old as Time” as the entrance song to the ceremony.

The bride, looking radiant, walked on the arm of her father towards the outdoor altar which had been set up by the far garden. There she was united with the groom—who looked the most gallant in his smart white suit—by celebrant Elham who was in charge of leading this beautiful Persian wedding which saw all the typical and fascinating ceremonial rites of the Persian culture take place, including the dipping of fingers in honey which signifies sweetness for the couple.

After the ceremony the bride and groom each dipped their little fingers in the cup and fed the honey to each other, starting their new lives as husband and wife on a sweet note.

Now as husband and wife, Arezo and Atheer walked back down the aisle to uplifting flamenco music, played once more by Nano, accompanied this time by his sister who performed a passionate flamenco dance set as the newlyweds joined their guests by a beautifully decorated pergola for refreshments, cava and wine as well as an assortment of some 20 mouthwatering canopies.

In this charming space, the bridal couple had a fun photobooth set up, which made a simple yet effective ice-breaker for the guests as well as a great addition to the wedding reception, complementing perfectly the official photos taken by the talented Talia Giraudo from Thoroughly Gorgeous.

After some fun snaps and sunset shots were taken, the wedding party headed down to the lower garden for a typical Spanish meal, including salmon avocado tartare as a starter, followed by juicy sirloin medallions with smoked potato mushrooms and a choice of crispy Haiku and salted langostinos with curry and coconut sauce for the main course. After which the guests enjoyed refreshing mint with red fruits for dessert.

The main meal was held in the lower garden which has breathtaking panoramic sea and mountain views.

In this dreamy garden space, whilst the toastmaster guided the moving and funny wedding speeches, a magician was brought in to provide further entertainment and magic to an already enchanted day.

Cava was served for the final speech before all the guests were invited to the upper area, back to where the Pergola stood, which had now been converted into a groovy dance area. There sparkles were handed out to all the guests as the elegant bride and groom danced the first dance to “A whole new World” from Aladdin. Afterwhich all the guests joined in and everyone partied the night away at the hands of Spanish DJ badass who mixed Arabian / Spanish vibes with a catchy commercial set.

Cava was served for the final moving and uplifting speech.

Approximately 70 guests were able to share this fairy-tale event with the wonderful bridal couple and we thank Arezo and Atheer for sharing their special day with us. A huge thank you also to Talia Giraudo for the use of these incredible images and to her husband Kevin who was the videographer for the day.
